Fea is a dynamic artist.
Although originally from Uzès, she has spent her life elsewhere but has now returned to tell her stories of movement and freedom. Françoise Escale Agnan creates and exhibits engravings, paintings and sculptures in her studio-gallery.

An engineer by training, I met engraving in 2000, at the bottom of my stairs in Paris.
Engraving was my school of art, of contemporary art.
Then painting. Oil. The freedom.
And sculpture. The sublime.
My work has always been about movement, about life, in fact. This vital energy that comes from the depths of our guts.
First with the body, very quickly in the abstraction, because freedom.
And when the plane becomes volume, to tell the story of movement, it's ecstasy.
