The Maison des Gorges du Gardon is located in the ancient hamlet of Russan, an ideal starting point for exploring the natural environment of the Gardon gorges.
A fun visit on which to learn about the great birds of prey, bats, reptiles and beavers, as well as plant life and the River Gardon that winds between the cliffs and garrigue of this protected natural space.
The heritage and history of this site, inhabited since prehistoric times, will also be presented.
There’s a boutique too, selling local products as well as refreshments. You can combine the tour with a walk along the nearby Castellas cliffs.
