The Musée de la Soie retraces the Cévennes' silk-making past, highlighting a heritage that contributed to the Cévennes' identity from the 13th to the 20th century.

The Musée de la Soie (Silk Museum) introduces visitors to silkworm rearing at all stages of the cycle (from April to October) in a reconstructed silkworm nursery, its ingenious machinery and magnificent know-how.
Guided tours are offered on a regular basis, and two archive films on silkworm breeding complete the visit. Contemporary textile design is showcased with a seasonal exhibition and a boutique featuring local craftsmen and designers, which also houses the Soieries des Cévennes sales area.
