Visit one of the most beautiful caves in France, the visit takes place on an easy route. With an indoor temperature of 14°, it is advisable to bring warm clothing. The return journey is by small train through the natural site.

A guided tour with commentary throughout a secured itinerary lasting approximately one hour. The Cocalière underground tour is suitable for all ages. Down here the temperature remains at a constant 14 degrees Celsius. You’ll discover an active cave, still under formation.

Besides the usual calcite concretions, stalagmites and stalactites of various shapes and sizes (including massifs and columns), you’ll also see along the way some circular concretions - disks that seem to defy gravity. At La Cocalière they are at their most beautiful and most unusual, hanging from the vault in fine semi-transparent draperies (or calcite curtains) striated with growth marks, not forgetting the eccentric budding crystals, fistulas and long fine macaroni tubes.

These curiosities of geology are mirrored in the clear blue waters of the natural pools festooned with decorative calcite formations. Those in the Salle des Gours section are arranged in steps and are quite remarkable. A cave pearl under formation won’t fail to capture your attention, all the more so as this natural phenomenon is a sight of extreme rarity.

Near the exit, you’ll see a representation of prehistoric excavations with objects and bones from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. From there, a little train will take you across the garrigue back to the reception area.

Discovery Trail - The 35-minute walk takes place on a shaded path, partially accessible to pushchairs. Free acces.

Unusual night: possibility to spend the night in the pyramid in the heart of the cave.
