Domaine de la Valériane Wine Estate

The estate specializes exclusively in red wine, including AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues, the most southern of the Côte du Rhône varieties, grown on our exceptional rolled pebble terroir.

The wine estate Domaine de la Valériane is located in the very heart of the southern Côtes du Rhône, on the right bank of the Rhône, in Domazan, a small wine-making village nestled in the heart of a valley where vineyards grown on gentle slopes, between Avignon the Papal city, and the Roman Aqueduct, the Pont du Gard.

A family of winemakers, deeply-rooted in the land has cultivated this exceptional soil for over 4 generations. This is a land of ochre soils, reddened by the presence of iron oxides. There are rolled pebbles too in this terroir, and the family works with environmentally-friendly farming techniques, with care and expertise, from its inception.

They produce Côtes du Rhône, and Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues, in red, rosé and white.

Valérie and Michel welcome your visit every day from Monday to Saturday, 10 to 12 and 2 to 7, closed on Sundays and holidays unless advance appointment.
