Perched on the heights of the small village of Collorgues, 10 km from Uzès, is the Huilerie Artisanale d'Olive du Pont du Gard, Soulas, named after the owners of the premises since 1930.

At the mill, the old millstones have given way to machines (stripper, washer, grinder, decanter...) but the spirit of authenticity and ancestral know-how remains.

A range of natural products based on the know-how of three generations.

To complete the setting, a field of olive trees welcomes visitors. The specialty here is the Picholine du Gard, also known as the Colliasse. A fiery, fruity olive variety, native to the Uzège region and traditionally cultivated for decades. The extra-virgin olive oil that Moulin Soulas offers you to taste is made partly from Picholine olives, but also from other varieties such as Arbequine ascolana, Rougette, Noirette...

On the technical side, Jean and his daughter Belen have always opted for a cold-pressing installation, with olives that have reached a certain stage of ripeness.
