Come and take a tour or go to a tasting session at one of the many estates and wine cellars in our destination and learn about the local expertise here. Come and meet the passionate wine growers who produce top-quality wines that are widely recognised today: PDO Duché d’Uzès, Côtes du Rhône, Côte du Rhône Villages, Côte du Rhône Village Signargues, Costières de Nîmes, or the PGI Coteaux du Pont du Gard and Cévennes.

Nevermind the colour (or “robe” for those in the know), the Mediterranean climate and wide variety of soils mean that several different grape varieties have managed to flourish here: Viognier, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Roussanne, Marsanne, Chardonnay… There’s something for everyone!

Tasting a local wine in the Pays d’Uzès Pont du Gard destination is all about appreciating the “art de vivre” (art of living), quality time with loved ones. Wine tasting is probably the best way to discover the territory, so what are you waiting for, come and treat yourselves!
Wine flows through our land just as the blood flows through our veins. And just as the warm climate keeps us in good spirits, it also helps create spirited wines: strong reds, fresh rosés and elegant whites. Our hillsides dotted with “capitelles” (dry-stone shelters) give rise to some local treasures.
