The right banks or the left banks?

If you arrive via the right banks, on the Remoulins side, you can access the swimming areas, the bistro and the restaurant. If you arrive via the left banks, on the Vers-Pont-du-Gard side, you can access the museum and exhibition areas. Whichever side you choose, all you have to do is cross over the monument to get to the other.

Have you arrived? Let us show you the various tours and activities that await you in this vast land of discovery!

If you want to find out all there is to know about the history of the Pont du Gard, then head for the museum and cinema. Get ready for a very interesting history lesson, thanks to the lifesize replica of the construction site. The tour will take you on a journey into the past, to understand how the Romans built at that time. And to learn even more, take a stroll around the temporary exhibitions.

Children aged between 5 and 12 can access the “Ludo” area, where they can learn about Roman civilisation, hydraulic techniques, archaeology and the observation of nature in a fun way, adapted to them.
