Village restaurant where Chloé (aka Pekelette) and her team welcome you
all year round. A la carte menu, market and seasonal cuisine. Nice
terrace, cosy dining room, home-like atmosphere!
Nestled beneath the village belfry, it has a shady terrace that can seat forty, and twenty inside, under beams set off by exposed stone walls, with farmhouse tables and tasteful decor sourced from second-hand shops.
Chloé is originally from Saint-Malo. She may miss her hometown, but the sun and the cuisine of the south of France have definitely won her over. Having been in front of the stove since the age of 18, she moved to Uzège in 2010. After a career as a restaurant co-manager and director, she wanted to run her own establishment and, above all, turn it into a place to live, not just to enjoy her succulent cuisine, which she wants to be "authentic and country-style".
Chloé works on her own or with a partner in the kitchen, using produce bought locally. She's really banking on short circuits and, as the icing on the cake, she'll be opening her establishment every day from July to August (except lunchtime) all year round, except on Wednesdays. In winter, she'll be open on weekends only.
Pekelette can also come to you for private events.
