The river port in Aramon opens the doors to a whole new type of tourism: a more easy-going experience, travelling from place to place. This place acts as the entrance to the Pays d’Uzès Pont du Gard destination for recreational boaters who can moor here and explore the area at their own pace.

At this small river port, there are 40 moorings for boats that are less than 15 metres long, and a dock for barge hotels. Recreational boaters will find all the facilities they need here, including drinking water, sanitary facilities and electricity.

A fast-expanding site

Since summer 2019, the Communauté de Communes du Pont du Gard has taken over the direct management of the river port. They are working hard to develop this exceptional place and turn it into a prime destination for recreational boaters, with leisure facilities and professional services such as bicycle hire, electric scooters, and a boat that serves as an ice cream parlour and snack bar, opening in summer 2021.
