When on holiday in the Pays d’Uzès Pont du Gard destination, you can be sure of the heat. So we’ve got some places for you to go and cool off! Here are the best places for swimming in the area. Swimming pools, rivers or water parks, they’re all here!

Natural places to swim

What could be better than taking a dip to cool off in a natural area? The Gardon crosses through our territory and there are some great natural swimming spots to discover!

The most popular place for swimming is in the village of Collias, on the left banks of the Gardon. You’ll enjoy the pebble beach and refreshing waters here. It is easy to get to and is a favourite swimming spot with tourists and locals alike. Make sure you don’t swim around the canoe departure point and avoid the areas with signs indicating that access is forbidden.

How about going for a swim at the foot of the Pont du Gard? With an admission ticket for the Pont du Gard site, you will also have access to the beaches next to this iconic Roman monument. This will most likely be one of the most original places you’ll ever have been for a swim!

You can also access another swimming area from the centre of the village of Remoulins.

Swimming pools and water parks

To cool off and spend some quality time as a family, as a couple or with friends, you’ll enjoy going to the swimming pools here! If you are keen on swimming, you can use the roped-off swimming lanes.

Are you more into slides? Then come and have some fun at the water parks of our destination! There are so many attractions and water activities to choose from.
