At Uzès

“Uzès Exposition III”, announces a unique 2024 exhibition in France featuring creations by the Bugatti family and works by Adolphe Monticelli.

Two unique exhibitions in one place

From June 22 to October 13, 2024, Uzès, 1st Duchy of France, awarded the Ville d’Art et d’Histoire label in 2008, and classified as a remarkable heritage site since 1965, will host a new edition of its major exhibitions in the heart of the former bishop’s palace.

This edition will feature two remarkable exhibitions, “Bugatti, a dynasty of creators”, which will honor the Bugatti family (Ettore, Rembrandt and Carlo), and “Monticelli, precursor of Impressionism”, which will celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of painter Adolphe Monticelli.

The Bugatti Dynasty

Three members of the Bugatti family will be in the spotlight at this third edition of the Uzès Exposition. You’ll be able to discover Ettore Bugatti’s cars, Carlo Bugatti’s oriental furniture and Rembrandt Bugatti’s bronzes.

Adolphe Monticelli

Another part of the exhibition will be entirely devoted to Adolphe Monticelli, a precursor of Impressionism. A well-known artist who inspired Van Gogh in many of his works. Some 50 of his works will be on display in the rooms of the former bishop’s palace to celebrate the bicentenary of his birth.
