Situated in the heart of Uzès, the Duchy's impressive structure reveals its military origins in its keep, the Bermonde Tower (12th century), its ramparts and its corner towers.
The Renaissance façade is truly an architectural gem.
The history of France continues to be told in the remarkable Renaissance façade (16th century) where the classical architectural orders - Ionic, Doric and Corinthian - are superimposed. It is very rare to find these three orders together on the same façade. The Grand Siècle and the 18th century are present on the facades with wide windows opening onto the main courtyard of the garden. In this journey through time, you will also discover the almost thousand-year-old cellars, the magnificent view from the top of the keep over the city and its surroundings, and the furnished apartments still inhabited by the ducal family.
