Atelier Bénédicte Blanc-Fontenille

As part of Artists' Studio Day, Bénédicte Blanc-Fontenille (Installation, Photography, Sculpture, Painting) opens the doors of her studio. Activities on offer: Reading of selected texts (11 am Saturday and 5 pm Sunday)

Bénédicte Blanc-Fontenille is a graduate of the Beaux Arts and attended the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique in Rennes. After 22 years in the USA, she chose to settle in Saint Quentin la Poterie.
For many years, she has been researching the fragility of life and human things. Exhibited in Europe, the USA and South Korea, her work is essentially based on minerals, plants and water. Her colors and materials echo the passage of time, in other words, the fragility that creates movement.
A multimedia artist, she is particularly fond of the hot wax technique known as encaustic.
