VISIT THE MANADE: come and immerse yourself in a horse and bull farm and experience the real thing!
Our manade, the Manade des Chanoines, is located in Raphèle les Arles. The visit to our manade takes place outdoors every Thursday at 10 a.m. from Easter to the end of August.
You'll first be welcomed by our gardian in our arena, who will explain how a manade works, the tools the gardians use to work, the harnessing of the Camargue horse, and the Camargue race. Then you'll head off in a tractor-drawn trailer, sitting on hay bales, to discover our 200-hectare horse and bull farm. There, the gardians will show you their work, among the cattle, and sort the bulls in front of you.
The tour lasts 2 hours, and ends with an aperitif.
You're welcome to picnic on site, with wooden tables in the shade.
