Created in 1924 by the grouping of 4 communes, Montfrin, Meynes, Comps and Théziers, the cellar counts today 80 winegrowers for a surface of 800 hectares of vines. The cellar produces 2 AOP, Costières de Nîmes and Côtes du Rhône and many IGP.
Since 1924, the Cave des Vignerons de Montfrin, Meynes, Comps et Théziers has been developing over time. The Mediterranean climate allows the vine to enjoy exceptional climatic conditions.
The vineyard has a terroir made up mainly of rolled pebbles which gives our grapes an excellent level of maturity. Thanks to the Mistral, the vineyard enjoys favourable climatic conditions which give rise to rich, silky and ample wines year after year. The terroir located on the banks of the Gardon river favours the production of fresh and fruity rosé and white wines.
Nicknamed the "Cave du Mammouth", come and discover an authentic skeleton which has been enthroned in the heart of the cellar since 2007. We will present our different ranges in Bag In Box, bottles and bulk.
In June 2024, the intermunicipal cellar will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
